Customer’s Responsibilities

Please help us to help you.

Base
A suitable base is essential for the long life of your building, and we can offer a base laying service if required, or advise you if you want to do your own. We will not erect sheds etc on unsuitable bases and a subsequent visit may be charged extra.

Access to Site
The building comes in panels and we require adequate height, width, and straightness to carry the panels through to the site especially if a terraced house or restricted garden access. We can overcome restricted access, for example by making the building in smaller sections, but we need to know at the time of ordering, or soon afterwards. There may be an extra charge for this.

Space for Assembly
The erectors need adequate space all round the shed, ideally 18” (450mm) minimum, which will also allow access for maintenance. This space needs to be clear of obstructions and trees to at least 8’ (2.5m) high. We can work in a smaller space, but need to know at the time of ordering. The minimum distance from a fence or wall is 4” (100mm).

Delivery When Customer Not Present
We need open access and clear instructions either with the order, or left at the site, showing a location, and the position of doors and windows. If the instructions are not clear, the erectors will use their judgement to position the building, and we cannot be held responsible if this is not as you want it.  If access is not obvious, for example a back entrance, please advise us when ordering, or before delivery.

Payment
A deposit (normally about 20%) is requested with the order, and the balance is payable on or before delivery, unless we agree other arrangements at order.

The item remains the property of Allsheds until paid for in full but the liability transfers to the buyer.
